Yvaine Shetland Stole Kit - Shetland Cobweb Lace
Yvaine, a Scottish name meaning “Evening Star”, is a lovely rectangular stole using traditional Shetland lace stitches. The design requires patterning on both sides, which makes it a little more challenging than many of my designs, but the garter-stitch background makes this much easier than a stocking-stitch ground. It is recommended for Intermediate to Advanced knitters.
Worked on 3.00mm needles, the finished stole measures 80 cm wide by 202 cm long.
This kit includes the printed pattern and two 50g (800m) skeins of our 100% Shetland Wool Cobweb Lace yarn, sufficient to make the cobweb version of the stole as written. (The pattern also includes instructions for a standard laceweight version.)
The pattern is both charted and written in full.
