Falklands Cormo Wool Lace (400m/50g)

When our supplier offered us a small batch of laceweight yarn in 50g skeins we snapped it up, as it's ideal for our knit and crochet cowl designs, while two skeins will make a large shawl. This is 100% wool from Falkland Islands Cormo Sheep, a cross between a Merino and a Corriedale and taking traits from both.

The yarn is quite soft and smooth, in a standard laceweight giving 400m/50g.  This yarn comes in a mid-brown base, so no pastels are possible but it gives a lovely depth of colour in the deeper shades.
