Collection: Merino Wool, Cashmere and Rose Lace (800m/100g)

This recent addition to our range features Rose Fibre, a recently-developed eco-friendly cellulose fibre made from rose bushes.  As a plant fibre, the rose will not take acid dyes in the way that protein (animal) fibres do, so you will find occasional slubs of undyed fibre within the yarn, but this does give quite a nice effect.

The yarn blends 60% Superfine Merino Wool with 20% Cashmere and 20% Rose Fibre, giving softness, drape and a subtle sheen.  A hand dyed/painted standard laceweight yarn (800m per 100g), this will be perfect for shawls and scarves, or a stunning garment.
