Knit and Crochet Design Collections
I've been creating my own knit and crochet designs for many years and, since starting Watercolours and Lace, have designed a collection of shawls, cowls, hats and garments which are available through our website and our Ravelry store.
Designs vary in complexity - an indication of the experience level required is given for each pattern. Many of the designs offer options for differing sizes and yarn bases.
Each pattern is available either as a printed copy by post, or as a pdf/digital copy which we will send by email for you to download and print yourself. We do not offer instant downloads from this website but these can be sourced from our Ravelry store - see below.
All patterns are copyright Julie Harris Designs and for personal use only, and may not be copied or distributed without my permission, so please do not photocopy paper copies or share digital versions. Knitted items made from my patterns may not be sold or produced commercially.
Sample items pictured in the description of each pattern are for information only - they are NOT for sale.
Please note: No refunds or exchanges are available for patterns, either printed copies or pdfs, once they have been despatched/emailed.
Digital Downloads
Current legislation requires us to charge VAT on purchases of digital downloads by customers in the EU or Australia, at the rate applicable in the customer's location. Our web service does not enable us to apply multiple rates of VAT to comply with this legislation, so pattern purchases from our webshop can only be supplied as printed copies by post, or individually emailed pdf versions.
Please note: Whilst we will email pdfs as quickly as possible, there may be delays when we are out of the office, so if you require your copy urgently we recommend purchasing an instant download from our Ravelry shop, where VAT will be charged at the appropriate rate.
This does also have the advantage of keeping a copy in your Ravelry library, which you can access at any time, and where it will be updated automatically if a new version is issued.
(Ravelry is free to join and a great resource for knitting and crochet. You can also view examples of our designs created by Julie and by other members of the site.)
If you purchase a printed or pdf pattern via this website, we can place a copy in your Ravelry library if required after purchase - please add your Ravelry username to the notes section at checkout.
