Merino Wool Fine Lace (1,500m/100g)

This yarn is beautifully soft and smooth and lovely to knit with, giving good stitch definition.  It is Italian spun, and made using the finest parts of the fleece to give an exceptionally soft yarn - it's often known as "Cashwool" and is ideal to wear next to the skin.  Hand dyed/painted 2-ply fine lace/cobweb weight (1,500m per 100g) 100% Merino Wool.  Perfect for extra fine and delicate shawls and scarves, especially those in traditional lace patterns such as Shetland and Estonian stitches.  Ideal for our Abbey's Shawl design - one 50g/750m skein will make the Small size.
