Merino Wool Silk Cobweb Lace

The same weight as our Merino Fine Lace and from the same Italian spinners, the addition of silk gives this yarn a little luxury and a gentle sheen, ideal for those special occasion shawls, scarves and cowls - perfect for a wedding!

A delicious and delicate yarn with a slight halo and cashmere-like softness, it takes colour beautifully, blocks and drapes well and is lovely to wear next to the skin.

Hand dyed/painted 2-ply cobweb weight yarn, this is a 2/30nm (1,500m/100g).

Please Note: We have this in two slightly different compositions - those marked 50:50 are 50% Extrafine Merino wool and 50% Silk, while those marked 75:25 are 75% Extrafine Merino Wool and 25% Silk.
