Olwen is a top down crescent shawl with an original lace pattern inspired by Julie's favourite Welsh landscapes. This skill level for this design is classed as Advanced, as most of the pattern repeat is worked over 24 stitches.
Dimensions after blocking: 130cm wide around top edge by 40cm deep at longest point, worked with a 3.75mm circular needle.
The kit includes the printed pattern and a 100g (400m) skein of our hand-painted 100% Falklands Merino Wool 4-ply yarn, sufficient to make the shawl as written, and is presented in a white cardboard gift box.
The pattern is presented both in chart form and as fully written instructions.
The pattern includes two other sizes in different yarn weights. The size is adjustable and there are options for beads, plus three different edgings to choose from depending on the amount of yarn you have available.
