The Rhiannon cowl is a modular design made from square motifs, each worked in the round, assembled using the “join as you go” method to crochet them together. The design is classed as easy to intermediate, suitable for someone with a little experience.
- The laceweight version is composed of two rows of five squares
- The 4-ply version has one row of four squares
- Each version takes less than 50g of yarn
- It is easy to adjust in length and depth to suit the wearer and the yarn available
The Laceweight Version requires approximately 50g (400m) yarn.
The sample used 40g/320m Alpaca Lace in Turquoise Tones, worked with a 2.5mm Crochet hook
The 4-ply Version requires approximately 50g (200m) yarn.
The sample used 46g/184m Alpaca 4-ply in Bitter Chocolate Truffle, worked with a 3.5mm Crochet hook
